Last year, the Scottish Funding Council and Skills Development Scotland confirmed to provide 500,000 pounds to more than 200 students in training a role of media-related works, such as announcer in TV program、director in a movie as well as photographer. In addition, there are around 400 students were took part in a lecture about Host Broadcaster Training Initiative.Every student is able to choose any one role which they like as their work experience from various universities and colleges in Scotland.
From my point of view,I believe that it is a novel way to improve students' practical skills in order to face to social in the future, thus, they are able to master the skill as well as experience in stead of only academic knowledge. On the one hand, this activity leads them to have lots of teamwork and communicate withe each other. For instance, students have to change their style of individual study in the past.In contrast,it is necessary for them to cooperate with somebody in works. On the other hand, they also can gain lots of social experience before they entranced to society.

I completely agree with you. My person view is that this kind of experiences could be helpful for children to find what they want to be in the future as soon as possible. If there were a lot of chances to participate in various fields, children would find what they would like to do and focus on what they need to study in advance. Of course. It depends on budget.
