Instagram a free online social application of pictures and short video sharing, released in October 2010. It is allows users to use a smart phone photograph and then add different filter effects to the pictures, and then share to Facebook, Twitter,and so forth.On April 10, 2012, Facebook announced a $1 billion deal to buy instagram.
The British broadcasting corporation (BBC), begin to attempt to launch on sets a short video news servicecalled "Instafax". Through 15 seconds of the video, the BBC will provide a summary of important news, if the user needs to understand the details of the news, will be quoted to the BBC website.
According to reports, in terms of using them to provide news, the BBC is not the first one who use instagram. Earlier, another company called NowThisNews through them also provide news on the instagram, but there is no doubt that the BBC is the biggest and most influential broadcasting corporation.
My point:
With the popularity of mobile devices, the traditional news reader, gradually abandoned the newspapers, magazines and other print media, steering by mobile phone and tablet to get news, the news on mobile terminals are also from text images to video and other media development.In addition, nowadays we receive a lots of informations than before, we don't have much time to go from the vast amounts of information in one by one to screening point, we need information summary, the title of the news is very important. So the news brief, to touch it will inevitably become a trend, in other words, audience can choose whether to read the information in more detail.The information of the video, Relative to the text, viewers are more inclined to watch the video. I guess all of these social programs could lead to the same purpose..
which is representing the news and the facts of the world in a simple and attractive way!
especially as a student I do not have that time to watch news or even TV. So I am depending on these applications to be aware of what happening in the world.
