Munich agreement was the bargain, which was
signed by the prime minister of four countries (Germany, Great Britain, France
and Italy respectively) in the conference of Munich on 29th of September 1938. At
the expense of what Czechoslovakia’s personal interest was sacrificed and the
Sudeten German territory was ceded to the Germany, which in order to keep the
peace.

Neville chamberlain claimed that ‘ Peace
for our time’ when he returned from Munich. However, after Hitler completely
controlled Slovakia in March 1939, he started to aggress Poland in September
1939. At that time, Great Britain started to have a war with Germany. As a
consequence, the choice of chamberlain that to keep peace at the expenses of
the Czechoslovakia interest was not right. Munich agreement not only unable to
avoid the war and bring the peacetime, but accelerate the World War II as well.
the role of Duke of windsor at the period of the World War II
Duke of Windsor was the king in Britain
from 20th Jan 1936 to 11th Dec. during the World War II, he
settled in France as British Military Mission in September 1939. In 1940, he
was installed as governor of the Bahamas, which due to the fact that he was
accused of being a Nazi sympathizer. The reason of being accused is that Hitler
was managed to reinstate Windsor as king and then he want duke of Windsor could
help him to build a fascist Britain. This means Windsor maybe would be pro-Nazi and
became a Centre of intrigue.
